Tulsa World Magazine is giving away tickets to The Outsiders 50th Anniversary Celebration & Fundraiser on May 6 at Cain’s Ballroom.
And be sure to get the special “Outsiders” edition of Tulsa World Magazine when it comes out Saturday, April 29.
“The Outsiders” book by Tulsan S.E. Hinton was published 50 years ago, and a movie that launched the careers of several big stars was later filmed in Tulsa.
The event at Cain’s will help raise money to restore and preserve The Outsiders House Museum, where parts of the film were shot. There will be appearances by actors Ralph Macchio, C. Thomas Howell, Darren Dalton and more, with music by DJ Lethal and a silent auction.
